Food not delivered

I ordered through th KFC website and even though the food left the store and we got charged the food never showed up. A delivery is not complete until it actually reaches the door, but Grubhub has some truly lazy drivers, they call from outside apartment complexes and expect you to go hunt them down.My husband is disabled and cannot be left unattended, so I can't just drop everything to hunt for a driver. I specifically left instructions for them to leave the food at my door and ring the bell. An hour later it still wasn't there. I have been on hold with Grubhub customer service for over 2 hours! I got someone in the first 1/2 hour, and then they just transferred me.

Poor take out service

Today I had my first experience using grubhub placing an order for pick up. I figured, shorter wait time and no waiting for a delivery person. Ordering was simple enough, left my number and I was given a time window that my food would be ready. 45 mins past the latest time in the window, I still have yet to be contacted; however, I did get a message from grubhub asking me how my experience was. Seriously? They don't contact me to tell me when to pick up my food, but they found it more appropriate to ask about my experience? The short version is the restaurant accommodated my cold food. I am pretty angry that the first and will be the only experience with grubhub had no directions as to if they would contact me about when my food was ready or if I was supposed to call. Its just poor form to NOT to explicitly explain how the process works and to not follow up. I will never being using this service again.

Lies deceit and lack of customer service

I ordered from KFC today, and they use grubhub for delivery. I ordered at 3PM for a 4:30 delivery. No contact from them at all. At 4:45 I called customer service and the person I spoke with had trouble finding my order then finally told me the delivery would be late. At 5:15 I went online chat with them and after 15 minutes was told they were having trouble finding a driver. I simply can not understand how you can accept an order and not have the resources to provide the service. I was charger for the order but told I would have to wait to get a refund. I know from experience that P.O.S. credit card charges do not take days to process, any business I worked for was able to do this right away. I ordered from a local KFC and a $20 fill up cost $35. and that was with free delivery This company is dragging good business down with them and ripping off consumers along the way.. I could have taken a taxi round trip for the $15 grubhub took and actually gotten the food. They had to have known that they could not complete the order, why couldn't they have let me know instead of making me wait for something that was not coming.

Ordered cancelled by grub hub 40 minutes after scheduled delivery

I placed an order in the late afternoon requesting that the delivery be made at 6:30 pm. My order was confirmed within a few minutes. Around 6:30, I received a message that my order was delayed and would be delivered between 7:00 pm and 7:10. At 7:11, I received a message that my order was cancelled and that details would be provided in an email. The associated email indicated that the order was cancelled due to the restaurant being closed or unable to fulfill the order. Of course the charge to my cc was voided, but that was not the big issue for me. I assume if grub hub cancels my order they will refund the charge (DUH!).

We ordered burgers and fries from a local bar down the street. Our food was to be delivered within 40 minutes. Our food finally arrived in 1 1/2 hours, COLD &;;;;;;;; SOGGY. Thing is, I watched the delivery app and the driver went by my house 2 times, after picking up our food. Their reason, "we were super busy". I could have got the food myself, but was trying to help the economy. So much for Grubhub

driver did not deliver me my food..saw him on the tracker he didn't even try to look all the way through the apartment complex and then he put that he had delivered the food...and that did not get that food at all...and I was out 20 bucks!!!!!

Unprofessional and disrespectful employee

I am a healthcare employee working for a hospital. I had a delivery made this morning to my place of employment. The employee who made the delivery was extremely rude. He went to the wrong delivery location and was given instructions to go to the correct entrance where no patient's would be but refused and stated on the phone "Im not going to risk his life over delivering some food". He also stated he was going to leave our food on the ground. So we met him at the location he was at and upon approaching him he told me to stop where I was at give him 6 feet and set our food on some random person's car and then walks off! I have used you all services many times any have never experienced such disrespect from any one of your employees. After this experience Im sad to say I will never be using grub hub services again. I had already tipped him before he made the delivery because all of our other experiences with grub hub has been great! Unfortunately this was not the case!!!!!!

Horrible Service.

My name is Larry Boughan. I live in Moore, Ok.

I used your website to order food from Boomerang on 4/17/2020. I ordered online at 533 pm, and was told my order would be delivered between 6 and 615 pm. I then received 2 more texts that said my order was delayed, and would be delivered at around 650 pm. After that time came and went, I called the restaurant and they said my order was there and had been for over 1 hour and 15 minutes.

When I checked about my order on your website, it says it was cancelled. What kind of business do you all run? Do you treat all your customers this way? I finally called the restaurant and reordered my order and went and picked it up.

The order that your driver was supposed to deliver to me was still there. The order # is 353.

I will never use Grub Hub again, and I will put on Yelp and every other site I can find how horrible your service is. My CC better be credited too.
