The delivery driver did not read the instructions and left my food on the front porch. He admitted to not reading the instructions. I have the text and he was cold, so now I have to reheat all my food.

My prior explanation is sufficient, and again, why should you need to hear this twice? You don't have a full understanding of the glitches in the application and you continue to make the same mistakes. You don't even address the true situation and problems identifying your client and the application's ability to respond based on objective facts.

I ordered a delivery and it turned out to be a pickup order. I'm a handicapped senior without a vehicle.
The order was paid for, I was told I couldn't cancel. The restaurant's phone kept going to voicemail.
Finally when I got to a person at customer service, they were able to cancel the order and refund me. Agent Jerald.

Food delivered by a female driver not make as credentials showed. Picture taken of tree so the unsealed bag can not be viewed.
Items taken out of bag including utensils and napkins. Need to be assured that fake non employee drivers are not doing deliveries to give Grubhub a bad name especially when person is not sensitive to your customers safety

Grub apparently allows drivers to manage multiple deliveries at a time. While this is great for the driver, it leads to some clients receiving their food late and cold. When this issue is reported to customer care, they merely repeat the information already displayed in the app, which is not helpful. When asked further, agents simply recite a script, usually something along the lines of: 'Sorry for the inconvenience, we care', and so on. The end result remains the same, the issue is not corrected. What's worse is that you can only receive a credit. Therefore, Grubhub never loses when the customer does. The driver doesn't lose, and neither does the store, only the customer. This is not customer service.
While I normally wouldn't resort to this, the only option left seems to be issuing low star ratings to the drivers. Grubhub forces the customer into a corner because they find a way to evade the issue.
Grubhub, if interested in improving customer care, should revise its policy and introduce refund options as well as accountability for its customer base. If the order was late, the question that begs answering is: Why was it late? What caused the problem? If you refund the client, at least the customer is compensated. A credit, however, leaves the possibility for the problem to reoccur with no tangible solution in sight, and the customer continues to lose.

I ordered at Grubhub, from 7-Eleven ice cream. The wrong flavor ice cream was delivered.
I followed Grubhub's instructions, advising that a Grubhub customer service call is necessary and available 24 hrs. Needless to say, it's not true! The chat function does not work and there is no telephone number on their website.
Worst of all, a refund doesn't get me the ice cream. It's the second time this has happened!

How can it be a "great job" if you're short $5382.00 (which seems suspicious) ?
