I used to use Eat24 to order food, and I was happy with them. Then GrubHub bought Eat24.

I noticed that the prices of items on the GrubHub/Eat24 online menu were higher, but I thought the restaurant increased prices. WRONG. GrubHub tacked on $$ to each item. For example, my fish&chips was suppose to be $9.99, and GrubHub listed it as $11.89.

So an 18.9% increase. That's in ADDITION to any other charges they have. They say in the small print that they charge exactly what the restaurant charges, but that's a lie. After I complained about it, my complaint was 'forwarded' to the proper dept who would look into it and fix it.

Yeah, right. It went right into the garbage, I'm sure.

A month later, the prices are still inflated. Now I just call the restaurant directly to order.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

I just was on their chat telling them the same thing. I wanna file a lawsuit for this.

We arent talking about 10 cents higher, these menu items are almost $2 higher on some items.

Its robbery and should be illegal. I told them theres no disclaimer saying prices are higher than normal
